What is the 3D Secure protocol?

3-D Secure is a protocol designed to be an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions.

Darwinex only accepts secure online deposit methods. That's why we've added an extra level of security for Visa and MasterCard deposits, which protects you from the unauthorized use of your card.

After you choose ''Card'' as a deposit method from your wallet, you'll be redirected to our card payments provider's website where you'll need to enter your credit card details.

Once you've done so, a new window will appear where your bank might request some extra security information. Your bank/card issuer will authenticate the transaction within seconds, as well as confirm that you are the individual ordering the transaction.

If you don't have a 3D Secure card, please contact your bank/card issuer.
