DarwinIA rating
Darwinex calculates a proprietary "rating" algorithm that takes into account 3 variables.
Rating calculation
Rating is a proprietary calculation that includes three inputs with different weight:
- Current calendar month return (22%).
- Cumulative last 6 months return (67%).
- Maximum drawdown across the current month and preceding 5 calendar months (11%).
Hence, the most relevant metric is the cumulative last 6 months return.
In addition, to encourage long-term trading and increase the chances of reaching GOLD, extra points are given for long track records:
- +1 point for DARWINs with a track-record between 6 an 12 months.
- +2 points for DARWINs with a track-record between 12 and 18 months.
- +3 points for DARWINs with a track-record of more than 18 months.
These points boost your rating naturally, making the path to GOLD easier. You can check your bonus anytime on your DARWIN page or in the DarwinIA SILVER ranking.
DarwinIA SILVER
Receiving an allocation depends solely on you, as you are not competing against others - all traders reaching the minimum rating of 75 receive an allocation - only against yourself.
DarwinIA GOLD
The rating calculation method is the same. However, for receiving an allocation, your DARWIN would need to be in the top of DarwinIA GOLD ranking. You may check the current month's ranking here.
