Darwinex offers you different types of account depending on the assets with which you want to trade
Account types to trade CFDs
At Darwinex you may open MT4 and/or MT5 accounts to be able to trade in the following assets in CFD format (contract for difference):
- Forex
- Commodities
- Indices
- Stocks (USA)
- ETFs (USA)
- Criptocurrencies (MT5 only)*
For the time being, crypto trading will be available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday. We are monitoring the performance of this service and will evaluate the possibility of extending it to 24/7 in the future.
Characteristics and minimum deposit on CFD accounts
Opening a CFD trading account open multiple posibilites for traders:
- Possibility to create your own DARWIN

The minimum deposit to be able to operate with this types of account in CFD format is €500.
| *Cryptocurrency CFD accounts are only offered to retail and professional clients with accounts regulated by the CNMV and to clients regulated by the FCA who have been categorised as professional clients. Spanish clients must already have an active Darwinex account or meet the requirements to be categorised as professionals and open a real account. |
Account Types for Trading IBKR Stocks and/or Futures*
In order to trade IBKR stocks and/or futures in Darwinex you have to Apply for an Interactive Brokers account with Darwinex or vinculate your exixting IBKR account to Darwinex.
Depending on the type of account you choose, you will have the possibility to create DARWIN, attract investor capital and participate in DarwinIA as is the case with CFD accounts.
