This is a short guide to help you open and access your portfolio of DARWINs, as well as to move funds in/out of the investment portfolio and create multiple live investment portfolios.
Investing in DARWINs is not available for Darwinex Global (FSA regulated) clients.
How to open investment portfolios
All registered users can open a demo investment portfolio so they can get comfortable with the DARWIN asset and our platform before committing funds.
The demo investment portfolio is a USD portfolio, it does not expire and it can be re-set any time.
Before being able to open live investment portfolios, users need to apply for a live Darwinex account.
The base currency they set up during this application will be the currency of their live portfolios.

How to access your investment portfolios
On the web platform
Demo and live portfolios are located in the "Investment" section of the platform.
You'll see the following subsections for each portfolio (left-hand side menu).
- ''Chart'' - the evolution of your portfolio and/or specific DARWINs, reflected on a chart
- ''Invested DARWINs'' - shows the list of current opened DARWINs, the open P&L as well as the TP and SL orders
- ''Pending Orders'' - shows all the ''Buy Limit''/ "Buy Stop" / "Take Profit"/"Stop Loss" orders placed. You may read more about pending orders HERE
- ''History'' - shows the list of all closed investments
- ''Performance Fees'' - lists all pending and paid performance fees per DARWIN
- "Management Fees" - more about management fees HERE
- ''Portfolio Risk'' - lists the correlation details of the DARWINs you're currently investing in
On the mobile app
You may also access your investment portfolio from the mobile app "Darwinex for Investors", available for both Android and iOS operating systems.
The mobile app lets you check - for the time being - only one investment portfolio.
If you don't have live investment portfolios, you'll see your demo portfolio. If you do have live portfolios, only the first live portfolio will be available on the mobile app.
How to move funds to / from your investment portfolios
You can move funds between your live investment portfolios and your wallet both from the portfolios and the wallet (Add funds / Withdraw funds buttons).
Before withdrawing funds from a portfolio to the wallet, make sure that the money appears in the "Available" section of the portfolio, meaning that it is not invested.
Multiple investment portfolios
Each user can create a maximum of 5 live and 1 demo investment portfolios.
New live investment portfolios can be created on the web platform, from the portfolio selector drop-down menu or from the wallet ("create investment account").
Note that live investment portfolios cannot be deleted and can only be renamed.
Portfolios are independent in terms of computing performance fees.
Hence, if you've invested in the same DARWIN on several portfolios, both your quarter-end date and your high-water mark with that DARWIN will be different in each of them.
Use cases of multiple live portfolios
Multiple investment portfolios can be used to follow different investment strategies in DARWINs.
For example, you could use one to invest in DARWINs that only trade currencies, another to invest in DARWINs that trade commodities, another one for breakout DARWINS, and the last one for DARWINs trading the news.
Another use case would be having a live portfolio for passive investing, another one for trading DARWINs manually, and the third one to trade DARWINs through the API.
